    My friend H1B is expiring this month end but she has valid EAD wth her.When we are planning to use EAD from H1B,what is the procedure for that?Do we have to send any forms to INS for this change of status??

    Nikon is taking their time with this one, as they're taking their time with the WT-3 transmitter for the D200. I am interested, but by now I've invested a bit too heavily in a DNG-based workflow by converting everything to DNG and attaching IPTC metadata, to consider Capture NX as a serious contender for my workflow. Though, I do imagine that I'd use it for those rare times when I need a really high quality conversion for very large printing.

    My six-year H1B expires Feb 2 2010.
    My employer (company A) filed PERM with DOL on July 30 2009.
    I have spent a total of 2 months outside the U.S while on H1B status.
    I have been on bench since July without paystub.
    I am leaving the U.S on October 30 2009 and am interested in returning back
    through another company

    Can I return to the U.S through another employer (company B) on a new H1B visa after Feb 2 2010... How long would that visa be valid for.

    If I cannot get a new visa; can I add the total of 5 months spent outside
    the US on the current h1b visa for recapture through another employer (company B) after Feb 2 2010 -- return to the U.S; and then
    subsequently apply for a 1-year extension after July 31 2010
    based on company A's PERM filing.

    Hi friends,
    I got my I-140 approval in premium processing. But unfortunately, USCIS printed the new labor filing date (2010) when the attorney requested my I-140 to capture the old priority date which is June2004. My law firm already contacted USCIS to issue a revised notice with the old priority date (June2004).
    How long does USCIS take to issue a revised I-140? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Anything that we can do to expedite the release of the new I-140 notice with correct priority date?
    Please let me know when you get a chance

    If so i think your I 485 will be automatically updated ..

    started as an intern with local in the month of march 06 and I was given offer till end of august. but my school official gave me work permit on a semester basis and gave it only for srping 06, which end in may 15th. I couldn't update my CPT status for 1 day for summer 06 and started on 16th may, so the school official has said that i am out of status.Since re-instatement is not possible from school as it was unauthorized work permit. They have advised me to go to home country and attend visa to be eligible for reinstatement. I have grauduated last month with masters of science..

    They said they will provide me recommendation letter for me to show to consular officer. Also, I have an MBA admit in same university for spring 2007.

    so should i come to new program..if thats the case how to get an emergency appoitment.

    Hi everyone,

    I have just received my H1-B, and I'm planning on a two week vacation back to my country.

    I'm not on a good relationship with my company at the moment, and even if they granted my vacation, I'm afraid they might cancel my H1-B visa while I'm on a vacation overseas.

    If they do, would I be not able to come back into US, or would they at least give me a few days to pack up my stuff?

    Any advice and comments would be appreciated.

    I am applying to renew my EAD and looking at the paper Application on page 7 I see that if you are C9 which all of us are mostly..we need not file an application fee..
    Is it true..
