Company A applied for labor(EB2) in Dec2006. It was approved.
My I140 was filed in March 2007 and approved on Jan 10 2008.
I did not file for I485 in July 2007.
I had changed companies in April 2007.Presenly I am on Company B payroll.
Now, If I move back to Company A, would I be able to apply for my I485 when the date opens.
The online status for I140 says, Approved.
I am in good terms with both the employers.
If I move to company A; at the time of applying I485, do I need to have paystubs from Company A?
Please help. Thanks

off the Topic! Sorry. Wondering if any IVian has good idea about itemized deductions we can take while working on 1099-MISC instead of on W-2? There might be good chunk of Spouses working on 1099 in IT or other areas of expertise while working on EAD.what kind of expenses where we need to save receipts while filing Taxes later on in '09.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The visa bulletin says "Effective Monday July 2, 2007 there will be no further authorizations inresponse to requests for Employment-based preference cases. All numbers available to these categories under the FY-2007 annual numerical limitation"
But doesnt that mean that no I485 authorizations will happen but filing can still be done and EAD received as de facto?
Please ask your respective lawyers to clarify this with USCICS/DOS.

We were given advice to meet with Hon. Zoe Lofgren the congresswoman for this district. As we as being an immigration attorney, she is Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law.
We need to visit her!

There have been many op-ed pieces discussing the GOP's suicidal alienation of Latino voters. There is no evidence that Republicans will even get a short term boost from anti-immigration voters (the relatively small number of people who make that their major electoral issue) since these folks overwhelmingly vote Republican anyway. And the long term harm in terms of getting votes from the country's fastest growing electoral group will be massive. The Washington Post's Michael Gerson piece this morning does a good job summing up the stakes: Ethnic politics is symbolic and personal. Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kennedy gained African...

Hi All,
I just called USCIS using the POJ method to check on my I485 status which is current for June (EB2 India PD is 3/20/04).
IO said a visa needs to be ordered for the file and it will be done in the next quarter i.e, July 08.She also said the file will not be assigned to the IO unless the visa is ordered??
Does this mean that all the visas for EB2 have been used for this quarter? Also, not sure why the file wont be worked on until the visa is ordered...which contradicts the pre-adjudication theory.
Thanks

During my last H1 transfer in 2008,LCA was filed for 60k per anum.LCA was filed in as work location Lanham,MD
Last Year ,my payroll ran for 90k per annum.
This year , my pay stub is running for 60k per annum. Still my Labor is for 60k only.
Will this be a problem when I am applying for Labor and at I140 stage in GC process?
Now If I am applying for H1b Extension, because of this drastic difference of 30k per anum,
will this be a problem.
please help me with answering this question.

Agree with the cropping suggestion and also suggest you bring the highlights down some to bring out the detail in the barn roof and level out the barn. Just did a quick-and-dirty adjustment. You'll get better results from the original.
