Hi all.
I just came back from Canada after 4 days using 30 day rule as I wanted to recoup few days so that my co. can apply for 7th year extension because my LC shall be pending for more than 365 days. My question is does my employer have to file two seperate LCAs for each I-129 application or same LCA copy can be attached with each I-129 ( 1st I-129 for extension for 3 days, 2nd I-129 for 1 year extension ) ?
( NOTE- MY I-94 WAS EXPIRING ON 15TH MAY AND LABOR CERT. SHALL BE PENDING FOR MORE THAN 365 DAYS ON 17TH MAY, SO I HAD TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE USA TO RECOUP FEW DAYS)

hey everyone I was trying to download the swift 3d because a pparently it sweems like a cool one but the download trial wasn't accuriable anyway I looged into the net store and checked the full program, it costs about 159$ so I guess I want to download the trial first to give it a try before spending that much amount of money so if any of you know where to donwlaod it just plz post me a message with the title"FOund what you wanted" on your subjectt space.=)

If you have a valid I-94 i.e. not expired, you can apply for another I-539 to F1 - make sure to make the application stronger than last time.

I am currently on H1B visa which will expire next year ie Nov2011. My employer just stated that due to economic conditions, they will not be able to file my GC.
My husbands company has already started his GC process ( his labor n I140 is done)but my name isnt on his application yet. We are waiting for the date to become current n then my name can be added on is 485 application as his dependent. His PD is Aug 08.
Basically I was interested in knowing abt future based employment GC. Has anyone done that before?
Is anyone aware of companies who would be interested in doing it. I just need to buy like max 2-3 years ....just to keep my H1B extensions going. I like my current job so really want to avoid changing it unless there r no other options left basically.
Pls suggest me options that I have to get H1B extension after Nov 2011 and continue working.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I also have my H1B Visa from Y Company stamped in my passport.
I am planning to enter US with my L1 Visa and then change my status to H1B after a month.
1) If I get a job, can I change my status from L1 to H1 within a month? Is there any minimum period to work on L1 for change of status?
2) Do I need the consent of my X Company for having the change of status to H1B done?
3) What documents are required for the change of status? I will not have my pay stubs during my stay on L1 status, as I will be paid just the per diam.

Today's news that Indiana Democratic Senator Evan Bayh will be retiring is probably bad news for much of the Democrat's legislative agenda. Documents requested for RFE (also suggested by lawyer):
- Client Letter, role/responsibilities, duties, technologies used, company profile etc.
This letter also clearly stated all entities involved and their relationships with each other.
- Purchase Order and Other contract related stuff (all possible). Everyone co-operated.
- Badge (main bulding, her office), timesheets
- photos (cubicle/office building,company logo etc), login screen, machine etc, client phone directory
- copies of recent pay stub and offer letter, job duties
Thanks to everyone who contribute on this forum. It helped us a lot. This is for my wife.

Following is a great post regarding how to decorate our properties with custom value pickers that allow you to more easily gain access to an element name. My requirement is to populate the properties in a combo box when the user picks an element using the custom value picker.

Company A had applied for an RIR Labor app in Oct'2002. In Mar'06 we got a letter saying that case was closed. Then the attorney asked it to be reopened and it was reopened. Then now end of Aug we got the approval.
Im in my 8yr of extension based on this RIR.
Ok since then in early 2004 Company B bought Company A. Then in Mid 2004 Company C bought Company B. Attorney at that time said i dont need to file any H1 and can stay in the H1 from Company A because it was a successor of interest !
but now the attorney is saying that it will be very difficult to prove this is a successor in interest and there is no way we cna get the I140 approved.
So..
1. What do you guys think ? Has anyone gone thru' something like this. Any ideas ? I have also applied for PERM with the current company.
2. How long can I continue without filing I140 for the labor that was approved.

Hi - I am just wondering, if Medical residency applications are subject to the yearly 65,000 Quota? Does anyone know?
If the hospital (healthcare organization) is a non-profit body then they will not be subjected to the quota (I think). Maybe other members can validate this.
