Education level is well maintained and by entrance examination standard, its far above GRE level. That's exactly the point..USCIS is HEADED by fools...the problem lies within...the heads dont really care if their staff is underpaid and over-worked..but the fact of it is that they just don't have the money nor manpower to get the work done. When USCIS adjudicated all those cases in 2002, it was not of their own volition but because Congress mandated it..6 years later they dont care for the immigrants..u think they'd (policy makers) care 2 hoots for the the USCIS officers...just take a look at the Infopass centers...from my experience I havent seen more than 2 officers helping customers at a time..no money..no manpower

We applied on 8th Aug for AP; Got receipts with receipt date of 13th Sep from NSC. I got my AP approved on 14th Nov. but we are waiting on My wife's AP since. Haven't received it.
So we are planning to get our H1/H4 stamped and travel without AP. My Lawyer thinks it shouldn't be a problem

If somebody is sending this letter, please do not send it without taking care of word-suggested corrections. There are too many green lines, most of the times because of spacing between two words.

I wonder what will happen with our cases. My husband has a PD Oct 2003, EB2 ROW, but thanks to PBEC, it got approved in Jan 2007. Our RD is March 2007, TSC, concurrent. Got AP in April and EAD in May. No LUD on 485 after FP, 04/25/2007.
One more question: How many wives are here? It looks like some guys would rather let this matter to the ladies to handle.:D

I got a home loan last year through SunTrust on EAD without any issues. You would need to provide more documentation such as I-140 approval, I-1488 receipt copies. :)

Read Section 6 of SOP [first para]. Please don't guess. As explained by many it's combination of RD and PD.
I think it will be based on the receipt date because if we look at the Service Center Processing Dates, they mention "Now Processing Cases with Receipt Notice Date of".

My DL expring in Sept. filed for 10th year extenison, I live in NY.
NY DL have 2 dates, One in Top with RED Bold letters its called Temp Visa Date and at botton DL exprie date. I have contacted in DMV office. They said I can drive using bottom Exprie date which is exprie in 2010(mine) ,But I cant use the DL as ID if Temp VISA expire on DL.Unless I renew it with approved H1B visa date.So I have to Carry Passport ,recepit copy and Employer lettter with all time just as proof if cop caught me.

USCIS should clear the backlogs first, to some extent, because people are stuck here in USA on H1B even after 10 years.. Otherwise they should find a way to pre-register to EAD and GC without all this gimmick approvals of AOS etc.
But this is only in our thoughts, just making memos and making the life of Legal immigrants a mess is the current strategy of the immigratin leadership, this is being done by the anti-immigrant community.
If they are not clearing the backlog, Suffering will be more for all of us who will eternally wait in the Q.

After reading all these, got curious and checked status of my cases online after a year. I got a soft lud on my, my wife & son's case on 02/25. Something is definitely happening.
