Between June 1 and the first few days of July (?), the USCIS requested and was authorized over 60,000 EB visa numbers, in approximately one month. Since it has been made clear by the USCIS that during the last weekend of June (2 days) the USCIS approved 25,000 EB 485 applications, apparently over 40,000 visa numbers were requested and authorized before the weekend. Obviously the 60,000 plus cases must thus have been approved (?) in one month. Hmm............................................... .........................

Thanks 9Years for sharing the info. My I-140 was filed on Oct 20th under premium processing and still waiting for approval.
As next step, are you planning to do interfiling or wait and see if I-485 will be approved automatically ?

My wife is on H4, i'm on H1B. She applied for DL renewal and was renewed for 1 yr.
They accepted visa, passport, i-94, and H4 renewal receipt notice.
They gave her one year from receipt notice.
What a relief. i was worried they would not accept it.
That was in Sterling VA DMV.:)

I am hoping they just dont tie EB2 I and Eb2 C at 15th Feb 2005 in April 2009.
Previously we have seen bulletins where Eb2 I and Eb2 C have tied up at 1Apr2004.
I dont know how many iterations it will take before it reaches the RIR/PERM boundary(1 Apr 2005)

I received good news on June 1, 2007 that my I-140 is approved. It was received by USCIS on May 22, 2007. Then later that day I saw the new immigration bill. If this very unreasonable bill (EB backlog) will be passed the wasting of all the money, time, stress, anxiety and hope towards the GC procedure will make the whole thing look like a bitter joke. This is beyong my wildest imagination on how bad things can go since we are all hard-working and law-abiding legal immigrants. Is it a punishment for being a good member of society?
I'm praying that it will not be given any consideration by those who have powers.

for handsfree , you could either do it through accountant or legalzoom.com once you set up the company, you need to get your Federal tax id for the company, then file for any local city business license ( few cities have that requirement), Open a bank account...
